Go slow Midlands today?

I heard briefly today on a traffic broadcast on BBC radio 2 about a go slow somewhere in the Midlands. Did anyone else hear of it or was I hearing things?

Re: Whats the point?

I'm happy to travel and meet and discuss a plan of action so it's not seen by all and sundrie. However, we will still face to problem of a lack of numbers, how will this be over come? Personally I think this should be taken underground and do various hits on particular targets.

Re: Whats the point?

I think that if there is to be a next time then everyone on here should do a protest and end it up in London. Do a go slow donw the M1, like the Chiefs, And everyone on here should attend it. That way we'd at least have a decent turnout and then maybe we might get something done. But again, can you ...

Whats the point?

I can't be bothered anymore now, whats the point of organising things when even people form this very website cannot be bothered to turn up? You should be f.u.c.k.ing ashamed. Time to form a milita and start jacking fuel tankers!

Re: if you were pm

1 6. I'd make forigen truckers pay a duty for the fuel they have already in thier tanks. Much like what the Germans do to you when you go there. If you have too much fuel in the tank then you have to pay a fixed duty charge whicih isn't dependant on how fuel you have in the tank. I'd make it really...

Re: if you were pm

1. Make every home more self sufficent, I.E, Off grid power sources, rain water harvesting, veg patch etc. I'd make it legislation so it'd have to be implemented to every single home. For those that live in flats or homes without gardens or small gardens I'd make more of the un-used land in the coun...

Re: Scotland yard

So if we meet outside of whitehall then we can all go in on that form you sent in. The other alternative is to take all banners off of cars etc then it's not deemed a protest and the police can't stop you from driving now can they!

Scotland yard

Email I recieved today: Mr Purvis regarding your proposal to deliver a petition to Downing Street on 19th July - I understand there is quite a bit of interest in your plans. We do not however plan to deploy any police resources to this event. Each and every driver is responsible under the Road Traff...

Re: this aint enough

It's a start though. If he's considering not to implement the 2p increase it means that the government are really feeling the preassure. That to me looks like cracks are strating to show in the governments armour. We just need to keep the pressure up.
